Wild Weather

Luckily, I'm not playing in it. Without a doubt, this has been the worst winter I've seen around here. The storms keep coming every couple days like clockwork.

But I'm a little ways south today. It is SUPER windy and raining, but the snow is north. With a day off today, I can handle the wind.

Lost in a playoff yesterday in the two-day Wasatch Tour event. I didn't really play that well, but I hung in and made a bunch of birdies. If I would have driven the ball better, I would have ran away with it.

I birdied two of my last three to tie Clay Ogden. I made a nerve-wracking 6 footer on the last hole to tie. I hit two solid shots on the first playoff hole to leave about 18 feet. It was a tough putt, though, down a steep slope. Make it or have some work coming back. Well, I didn't make it. I hit the second putt solid, but it broke more than I thought and lipped out. 2nd place.

I feel good about my game. I'm not 100% yet, but I'm making checks and getting into contention. I'm looking forward to hitting my stride.

Harmon tour this week. Off next week.

I like what I'm reading, Luke. Sounds like you're getting the most out of your game and racking up a lot of tournament rounds. It's bound to pay off.
