Back in the States

Back home for a few days. My aunt is selling her house, but she hasn't sold the old one yet. So I get to move into the old one until it sells. And it is nice, and big. So I moved this weekend, and had a birthday, too.

Woke up early on Saturday in Canada. My flight wasn't until 1. I had a 2 1/2 hour drive, so I had time, but I wanted to get a good look at Niagara Falls. I had only driven by it the first time. I was pretty much the first person at the park, and it was amazing.

I managed to get someone to snap a pic, so here's proof I was there:

Few days off now. Nationwide qualifier in Oregon next week.

Happy Belated Birthday Luke! I have been following your path (thru blog)after I heard of you through my son, Brent, who played on the Grey Goose/Gateway Tour the summer of 06. He told me you were one of the nicest people he met on the tour. (I "googled" you and found this blog) Brent is no longer playing golf. He got caught up in the Pro Tour fiasco. A new opportunity came his way and he made the decision to move-on, for now. I love your attitude and your enthusiasm, I will continue to follow your progress. If you are every in the San Diego area let me know, we have plenty of room to help a golfer along his journey. barbers528@aol.com

Yeah, I didn't get to play a lot with Brent, only a couple of practice rounds, but he was a good kid. Wish him luck for me in his new endeavor. I'll look you up if I get down to San Diego.

Luke: Happy birthday man! Its always nice to come home eh?! We were in the "states" last weekend and it sure feels different when you go to another country (even though its 2 hours away). So i give you all the credit for keeping so collected travelling as you and making a living at what you do. Awesome man. Looking forward to talking/seeing you.
I always golf on my birthday...so does a pro like yourself not golf on your birthday?

You know I'm in Portland, right? I assume that's where the event is. I'm gonna find out and track you down, pal.
